PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Change of Name from Kigezi Orphans Project to Roots of Impact Development Initiative (RIDI)

The management of Kigezi Orphans Project is pleased to inform all donor agencies, partners, stakeholders, and the general public that the organization has officially changed its name to Roots of Impact Development Initiative (RIDI).

This change was published in the Uganda Gazette on 26th September 2025.

Please note that while our name has changed, our vision, mission, and core values remain the same. The new name reflects our broadened mandate to extend development services more fully to the entire community—beyond supporting vulnerable children alone, as we have always strived to do.

Effective 1st January 2026, the name Kigezi Orphans Project will officially cease to be used in all our operations, programs, and communications.
